形態特徵

• Plants 35-40 cm tall. Pseudobulbs closely aggregated, clavate, 2-4 nodose.
• Leaves 2 or 3, elliptic, 15-20 cm long, 5-6.5 cm wide, acuminate, glabrous above, minutely pilose below; petiole 10-20 cm long, slender, dilated at base.
• Scapes slender, ca. 30 cm tall, with few ovate or lanceolate scales below; rachis 3-5 cm long, with rather dense flowers opening successively; bracts lanceolate, 1 cm long, pubescent outside; pedicel and ovary 13-15 mm long, short pubescent. Flowers white; sepals white inside, greenish, with minute scattered black dots and short hairs outside, obovate, 7 mm long, 4 mm wide, acute at apex, contracted at base, keeled outside; petals obovate, 6 mm long, 4 mm wide, subacute at apex, contracted at base; lip whitish, tinged with purple near base, spurred, 3-lobed, lateral lobes linearfalcate, 8 mm long, 3 mm wide, central lobe orbicular-obovate, 12-14 mm long, 13 mm wide, rounded and deeply 2-lobed, base contracted into a short claw, disc with thick lobed yellow calluses at base, callus pubescent at center; spur ca. 1 cm long, slender, sometimes bifid at apex; column whitish, rather short, 2-3 mm long, laterally protruding downward and connate with base of lip; anther cordate, ca. 2.5 mm long; pollinia clavate, 1.5 mm long, attached to a clavate viscidium; stigma 2-parted; rostellum deeply 2-lobed, lobes rounded at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : in broadleaved forests and conifer plantations at ca. 1,000 m in the northern part of the island.
• 世界 : Southern Japan, the Ryukyus, southwestern China and the Himalaya.
